Google's Mobilegeddon Aftermath

Now that we’re heading towards April and the anniversary of Google’s Mobilegeddon this article takes a look at whether it influenced the way we build sites. Well the good news is that websites with a mobile presence are on the rise… but even without this move from Google I wonder how different the stats might have been.

Our study included websites from five key categories: news, e-commerce, tech, business, and sports. As expected, the e-commerce site owners were the quickest to adapt. 31% of e-commerce websites that didn’t have any mobile footprint have turned their attention toward optimizing the experience for their on-the-go users.
