html5shiv

The HTML5 Shiv allows you to support HTML5 document level elements in Internet Explorer IE8 and below. While it isn’t strictly a responsive design feature it is recommended you include this and use the HTML5 elements <section>, <aside>, <header>, <article> etc as they also offer
ARIA benefits.

Common question: what’s the difference between the html5shim and the html5shiv? Answer: nothing, one has an m and one has a v – that’s it.
