Microsoft readies kill switch for Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10

It took what seemed like an eternity to have IE6 come off the support list, and that time again for IE7 to fade away. Now Microsoft is stopping updates for IE8, IE9 and IE10 as of the 10th January and will help large organisations with their upgrade plans. Kudos to you Microsoft

The software giant plans to hit the kill switch on IE 8, 9, and 10 on January 12, and it has been advising users to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11, or itsnew Edge browser, to avoid being exposed to potential security risks after that date.
